About Me
Danesh Hanbury was born in Katana, Zaire (now the Democratic Republic of Congo). He spent the first 17 years of his life in Africa; most of them were spent growing up in Gabon. These blends of different cultures helped him build a strong sense of identity and purpose. His life in Africa an his parent’s strong moral and spiritual education are what he attributes to the foundation of his personality. He has quoted: “Africa and my Parents made me who I am; without them I don’t know where I would be”.

He returned to Canada at the age of 17 and finished his high school education at Lisgar collegiate in Ottawa and later beginning his post secondary education at Carleton University. In his second year of Business Commerce he began to feel stifled and realized his wished to return to his initial passion: Acting. He promptly moved to Toronto and began pursuing his career.
